create a character

you should make a character that is one of the strongest at high level and not only on low level.

you must find the balance between attack and defensive strengh of your character.

you must increase attributes which let's you fight better with the choosen weapon.

fighting

increasing attack speed or something that increase the damage lets you level up faster.

increasing a defensive skill let's you live longer and maybe make you indestructible.

slaining high level monster let's you level up faster, but the chance to die is higher.

slaining low level monster let's you level up slower and the chance to die is lower .

buying equipment

you can wait till you have enough money to buy the best item of a group (helmet, shield, sword, axe, ..) and buy it.

with this strategy you will use the lowest amount of money or for the best equipment.

you can buy the cheapest equipment of every group.

thats the fastest to get attack oder defensive bonus, but you will spend more money till you have the best equipment.

you can follw one of this 2 strategys or follow a strategy between them.
